Abstract
A high-temperature superconducting bandpass filter for deep space exploration antenna is developed by using r-Al2O3 substrate. An r-Al2O3 has strong mechanical strength, high chemical stability and low cost. However, there is the problem that the measured result didn't agree with the simulated result, because of dielectric anisotropy. Therefore, we determined the effective dielectric constant and aligned all couplings in one direction to consider dielectric anisotropy. The filter was fabricated using YBa2Cu3Oy thin film on r-Al2O3 substrate. The measured result agrees well with the simulated one. Finally, our filter was adopted for the receiving system of the deep space exploration antenna.
