本研究の目的は,図形楽譜づくりにおいて個の思考過程が環境(人間を含む)とどう関わりながら進展していくかを明らかにすることである。J. デューイは次のように述べている。「われわれの行動と,それによって生じる結果の間には,特定の関係がある。それらの相互作用における関連を発見し,連続的に起こるよう意図的に努力することが『思考』である。」音楽科の学習に置き換えると,子どもが友達,教師,教材と関わり,それによって生じる結果には,特定の関係があるといえる。それらの相互作用における関連を発見し,連続的に起こるよう意図的に努力することが「思考」であるといえる。そこで,子どもの思考過程と環境との関わりを明らかにするために,「図形楽譜づくり」を行った。それは,「図形楽譜づくり」が,思考の結果であり根拠ともなるからである。組曲《道化師》より〈行進曲〉を教材とした6年生の実践分析から,以下の2点が明らかになった。1子どもが友達や教師と関わることによって子どもは問題意識をもった。そして,生じた問題を解決するために個の思考の対象が焦点化した。2図形楽譜との関わりによって,個の思考は教材と強く関わりながら展開していった。

The purpose of this study is to clarify how personal process of thinking progresses, having relation with the environment(involving a person) in “Grafic Score Making". Acceding to J.Dewey, the specific relations exist between our action and results to thereby occur. “Thinking" is to discover connection in their interaction, and to make an effort intentionally to be generated continually. In other words, in a class of the music department, it may be said that the specific relationship exists between relating children with their friends, teachers, teaching materials and results to thereby occur. “Thinking" is to discover connection in their interaction, and to make an effort intentionally to be generated continually. Threfore, “Grafic Score Making" was performed to clarify the relation between the thinking process of children and the environment (involving a person). “Grafic Score Making" is to be result and grounds of thinking. As a result, 2 conclusions were obtained as follows, from the practical analysis of〈march〉in suite《clowns》of the 6th grade. 1Children had an awareness of the issues n by the relationship with their friends and teachers. And, the subject of their thinking was in focused to solve resultant problem. 2By the relationship with “Grafic Score Making", their thinking were developed, relating with teaching materials.
