本稿の目的は,浪花亭綾太郎《壷坂霊験記》の二種の録音を分析素材として,異なる機会に演じられた同一演題の浪曲にどのような共通性と相違性が見られるかを検討し,浪曲における演奏の可変性のありかたを探ることにある。分析から三点のことがらが導出された。一点目に,二種の録音は,物語の「語られかた」および音のすがたの両方に関して異なっていること,二点目に,浪曲三味線の演奏の可変性は,単一の原理に基づくのではなく,一席の下位をなす構造単位の各々に対応した複数の原理に依拠していると考えられること,三点目に,浪曲三味線の演奏の可変性には奏者の「手癖」の認容という問題もかかわっていること,である。

The purpose of this article is to analyze and to compare the two versions of rôkyoku recording of “Tsubosaka Reigenki" by Naniwatei Ayatarou. Methods of the analysis are based on the articulation of each recording into the structural units in rôkyoku. The conclusions are as follows: Firstly, two versions of recording, which contain common story and approximately common text, use different ways of story-telling. Secondly, two versions of shamisen performance have a common principle. Thirdly, it is thought that habits of shamisen player's performance are permitted. And fourthly, shamisen players in rôkyoku seem to depend on not one grand theory but plural principles of improvisation according to each structural unit.
