交通事故後のPTSD患者に対して,元々レイプ被害後のPTSD治療のためにFoaら(2002)により開発された認知行動療法である持続性暴露療法を施行した結果,患者のPTSD症状が顕著に軽減した。このことは持続性暴露療法が交通事故後のPTSD治療に資する可能性を強く示唆するものである。

I reported here two cases with PTSD after traffic accident. To these two cases we have used prolonged exposure therapy, which is cognitive behavioral therapy and developed for rape victims. This therapy was successively effective to these two cases. These results suggest that PE is also effective to patients with PTSD after traffic accident.
