九州地区教員養成系大学学生における喫煙行動の実態およびその関連要因の探索的検討

本研究は,教員養成系大学学生の喫煙状況およびその関連要因などを検討するため,九州地域における国立大学教員養成系学部の学生を対象にして,質問紙調査を実施した。喫煙者は全体の13%と我が国では一般的レベルであったが,いくつかの問題が見出された。すなわち,1)喫煙開始は安易にして無考慮な行動がきっかけとなっており,2)父親や母親のような近親者が喫煙行動に関係する危険因子であった。単変量解析では,喫煙行動には朝食および昼食の欠食,および少ない自炊,が喫煙行動に関わる因子であった一方,多変量解析では,年齢とともに朝食および昼食の欠食が喫煙を予測する因子として抽出された。その他,本研究で抽出された大きな問題は,本対象者の殆どにおいて,就学前から大学まで喫煙防止教育を受けているにも関わらず,喫煙行動に有意な好影響を認めなかったことである。以上より,今後は大学生の喫煙行動の実態を更に解明していくためには,受けてきた喫煙防止教育の質や量について具体的に検討を行なうことが必要である。その上で,喫煙防止教育に必要な内容論と方法###論を理解せねばならない。To investigate the actual situation of smoking behavior and related factors among university students, we conducted questionnaire survey consisted of the frequency (/ day), history (year), and first experience of smoking, or mental health, lifestyle. As the results, smoking rate among present subjects was low, while various problems were observed, as follows; 1) the opportunities of smoking start were easy events, such as little consideration, curiosity, 2) as the risk factor, smoking behavior of close relatives, such as###father, mother, were indicated. Also, univariate analysis indicated that smoking behavior were significant correlated to skip the breakfast or lunch, no cook one's own meals, lack of sleep, and part time works. On the other hands, binomial logistic regression analysis revealed that whether current or not smoker was predicted by age, skipping breakfast or lunch. To make matters worse, the history of smoking prevention education (SPE) across preschool to university, didn't desirable influences to smoking prevention, despite the fact that most of present subjects had been attend to any SPE.Accordingly, we must conduct the investigation as for the quality and quantity###of smoking prevention education in a sample of university students. Moreover, we should###make fully understand what SPE need useful contents and method.
