Abstract
In the previous studies on the effect of fuel composition on super lean burn (combustion with an excess air ratio of 2 or more), it was found that the lean limit will be significantly expanded by changing the fuel composition even for hydrocarbon fuels that do not contain oxygen or nitrogen. In this report, we focus on the ignition delay time and laminar burning velocity of hydrocarbon fuels on the expansion of the lean limit based on the experimental results.
