This study examined the effects of difference of clothing on blood pressure at winter season. The study was divided into experiment I and experiment II. Experiment I was away of combining clothing at the time daily. Experiment II was clothing which was cold protective at the time for rest of exercise. Six female students and 8 male students in good health, each participated in Experiment I and Experiment II, respectively. Systolic blood pressure under condition A which was the combination of clothing in the general winter was 109.7±3.0 mmHg. On the other hand, systolic blood pressure under condition D which was half sleeved shirt and shorts was 118.4±3.0 mmHg. Systolic blood pressure under condition A was higher than that under condition D, showing statistically significant difference (p<0.05). Moreover, in the condition G to have covered the respiratory tract and a limb end part, were shown 111.2±3.1mmHg. Between condition D and condition G, a significant difference was admitted (p<0.05). At experiment II, when the group to have worn a bench court during the experiment period compared with the group not to wear a bench court, the worn group was lower about blood pressure and heart rate. In this study, these results suggest that the one which wore the cold protective colthing was better for the body at the time for rest of exercise.
