<p>This study aims to promote tourism to Karatsu based at the commercial complex “KARAE” which opened in October 2019 in the Central Shopping District in Karatsu City by introducing digital marketing methods into town development activities, and formulates strategies and implements measures for promoting the facility. By operating the official website and each SNS site, community-oriented information was disseminated to local residents and tourists. As a result, user attributes like age, gender and regional characteristics were identified for different dissemination media, encouraging information exchange with ordinary users. Dissemination of community-oriented information emanating from the facility stimulates excursions to nearby areas, and the number of visitors in the shopping district on holidays exceeded weekdays for the first time after the facility opened, confirming the effects of promoting motivation of people to visit Karatsu and consumption of local produce.<br></p>
