The catalog of type specimens of amphibians and reptiles registered at the Osaka Museum of Natural History （OMNH), published in 1996, has been updated to add 25 new specimens of 10 species （17 specimens of five species of amphibians and eight specimens of five reptiles). The total number of type specimens registered in the OMNH is now 155 for amphibians （5 families, 8 genera, 19 species, including 9 holotypes）and 55 for reptiles（8 families, 15 genera, 22 species, including 14 holotypes), as of April 2021.

1996年に公表された大阪市立自然史博物館所蔵の両生類・爬虫類の模式標本の目録を更新し , 新たに10種25個体の模式標本の情報を記載した（両生類 5種17個体, 爬虫類5種8個体) . 当館に登録されている模式標本は, 両生類5科8属19種155個体（うち完模式標本 9個体) , 爬虫類8科15属22種55個体（うち完模式標本14個体）となった（2021年4月末現在）．
