Abstract
<p>The purpose of this study is to confirm the improvement of the acceptability of the LRT by explaining the features of the LRT, to analyze the attributes and attitudes related to the acceptability of the LRT. In this study, a questionnaire survey was conducted in Maebashi City to understand the acceptability of the LRT based on two indicators: appropriateness and approval or disapproval. In this study, we conducted a questionnaire survey in Maebashi City to understand the acceptance of LRT. We also found that the LRT has a great deal of acceptance in Maebashi City, and that it is difficult to give a neutral answer as an explanatory effect. In addition, the number of people who own cars is related to the number of non-residents along the rail line. It was found that those who choose suburban areas with easy access to shopping centers, those who shop frequently, and those who are more budget-conscious are more likely to be in favor of LRT, and that the most important measures to be taken are ensuring regular schedules and increasing the number of trains.</p>
