Abstract
<p>Willow trees are used to make effective use of dormant forest lands, which are increasing as the population decreases. Willow trees are fast-growing trees and require little reforestation, which reduces the cost of cultivation. We estimated the unit cost of power generation and the unit cost of reducing carbon dioxide emissions when willow trees are used as fuel for power generation.</p>
