Description

A replication study was conducted on the love-is-blind bias using a Japanese sample. The results showed that current partners were rated as more attractive than past partners, that current relationships were perceived as qualitatively better than past relationships, and that their own couples were perceived as happier than their friendsʼ couples and couples in general. A new finding showed that such bias was greater in males.
