Description
<p>The receptivity to acoustic disturbances in zero-pressure-gradient boundary layer over sinusoidal roughness and roughness consisting of two Fourier modes was examined numerically. The results showed that the receptivity coefficients were significantly dependent on acoustic frequency and increased linearly with roughness height up to thickness of stokes layer. It was found that the receptivity of roughness consisting of two Fourier modes was well reproduced by the superposition of receptivity of roughness with each Fourier mode.</p>
