Abstract
<p>This paper numerically investigates the explosive spalling of ultra-high-strength concrete taking into consideration the impact of polypropylene (PP) fibers during high-temperature heating. The spalling model of the multi-scale platform was upgraded and validated by the experimental results of ultra-high-strength concrete. In this study, the limit state of spalling was improved based on the property of tension-softening behavior. The effect of PP fiber for explosive spalling was also investigated using the proposed model.</p>
