<p>イネ科キビ連のメガルカヤ属Themeda Forssk. は世界の熱帯や亜熱帯地域に27 種ほどがあり，インド北部と中国雲南省が分布と多様化の中心となっている．そのうちインドには18 種が知られている．本稿では，T. cymbaria Hack.，T. huttonensis Bor，T. laxa (Andersson) A.Camus，T. tremula (Nees ex Steud.) Hack. の4 種のレクトタイプ指定を行った．</p>
