Abstract

The manifestations of COVID-19 are variable, but literatures on COVID-19 related myocarditis are rare. We herein report a case of a 47-year-old woman without respiratory failure. She was admitted with cardiogenic shock and was clinically diagnosed with COVID-19 related myocarditis. After receiving antiviral therapy and ECMO, she was discharged. Although she was infected with COVID-19, she had no respiratory symptoms. Measuring troponin levels which predict cardiac injury may be useful to avoid missing cases of COVID-19 with only circulatory failure. In addition, patients should be treated in the hospitals where mechanical supports are available, because it could be fulminant.
