Abstract
<p>Leaders play an important role in improving affective commitment and team creativity that are essential for organizations to produce results. In this regard, previous research has focused on leadership that falls under credibility. However, there is legitimacy that affects the effectiveness of leaders and is influenced by the process of acquiring the role of leaders, and incorporating this can further heighten affective commitment of members and team creativity more than now. Therefore, this study focuses on election methods of leader selection. We examine the effects of four election methods with different legitimacy through a laboratory experiment and gain knowledge to help organizations produce results.</p>
