The moving belt technique is sometimes used to neglect the interference of the approaching boundary layer for the automobile testing in a wind tunnel. However, it may be difficult to achieve a constant velocity profile from the belt to upwards by using a moving belt only. In this study, a new technique is improved situating a mesh screen in front of the moving belt.
