Abstract
Demands for nondestructive corrosion inspections are increasing with the aging of reinforced concrete structures. In this paper, a corrosion detection method using the doppler effect was proposed. As a result, the received power decrease due to corrosion was measured to be 9.75 and 3.70 dB for an iron plate and a cylinder, and the validity of the proposed method was indicated.
