- Generation of tight actin filaments in response to osteogenesis supplements modulated the mechanical behaviors of osteocyte spheroids
抄録

Previously, we have developed scaffold-free osteocytic spheroids using osteoblast precursor cells and mesenchymal stem cells. In this study, using spheroids reconstructed by human mesenchymal stem cells, we aimed to elucidate the cellular behaviors of the osteocytic spheroids in response to chemically induced osteogenesis supplements. In the presence of the osteogenesis supplements, the spheroids exhibited a greater size reduction after 7 days. We also found out the osteogenesis supplements generated tight actin filaments on the surface of the spheroids, which results in the further size reduction of the spheroids compared to the non-treated one. From these results, we represented that the cellular behaviors of the osteocytic spheroids are altered by the chemical induction.
