Description

In this study, osteoblasts were subjected to LMHF vibration stimulation with different acceleration amplitudes and vibration with pause periods, and characteristics of the intracellular calcium signaling response were evaluated. As a result, the peak intensity of the calcium signaling response was higher for the vibration stimulus with higher acceleration amplitude. However, LMHF vibration stimulation with pause periods did not have a statistically significant effect on the response rate, response peak intensity, or response time. These results indicate that osteoblasts have the ability to sense the intensity of LMHF vibration stimuli and respond more strongly to vibration with higher acceleration amplitude. In addition, the insertion of a pause periods into the vibration did not affect the response characteristics of osteoblasts.
