Abstract

<p> TAC(Transabdominal Cerclage)is performed for patients with ultra short uterine cervix who had a history of miscarriage or preterm labor twice or more.</p><p> TAC is not covered by public insurance system unlike standard transvaginal cerclage. Therefore, TAC is usual performed at limited institutes as a clinical research.</p><p> So we can not do the procedure for all patients who need TAC especially living in a remote places.</p><p> We underwent TAC for a non-pregnant patient who needs this operation at a regional perinatal center in Hokkaido.</p><p> She had natural conception 5 months after TAC, and delivered at 36 weeks 5 days by cesarean section.</p><p> We report the successful case of labor after TAC.</p>
