Abstract

<p>In the design of the image formation process of electrophotographic technology, it is important to accurately measure the surface potential of the electrophotographic photoreceptor. Furthermore, it is required to improve the performance of surface potential measurement in high response and micro area for high speed and high image quality. Analysis of charge decay phenomenon by photo-induced discharge curve (PIDC) measurement and X-TOF (xerographic time of flight) measurement contributes to elucidation of charge generation and transportation mechanism in the photoreceptor. Our company has developed and provided various measuring instruments, high-voltage supply equipment, and photoreceptor process simulators. In this article, we report an overview of our measuring instruments and surface potential meter X1 with inductive current detection.</p>
