Abstract
In recent years, sidewalk café projects have attracted much attention in Japan. However, few papers have been published on sidewalk café design and design methods. Therefore, the purpose of this survey was to identify suitable designs for sidewalk café. The survey employed a seat selection questionnaire for each partition using images and a seat selection questionnaire with floor surface changes using 3DCG. The results of the experiment showed that the seat selection tendency differed by partition. In the questionnaire using CG, no significant change in seat selection tendency due to changes in the floor surface was observed, but it was clear that objects may have a significant impact on seat selection.
