Description

In this paper, I report on a psychotherapeutic process using drawings for a male student who complained about mood swings. When the client started the therapy, he was immobilized by a dominant mother and an image of a father as a fearful object. Despite repeated cancellations and interruptions, we maintained and kept the therapy process ongoing. It was through this experience that he created his safe space and felt protected. In the Landscape Montage Technique used in the process, various flows of water were drawn and these changed the expression. It was thought that via this process he was able to calm the flow of water in what he called his “waves of mood”.
