説明

A correspondence between "大伴書持" (Ootomo-no-Fumimochi) and "大伴家持" (Ootomo-no-Yakamochi) is noted in Volume 17 of "万葉集." This correspondence has been discussed from the macroscopic standpoint of the political situation of "家持," or from the microscopic standpoint of the sibling relationship with "書持" but both lack accuracy. Therefore, by exploring the common understanding of the aristocrats of the ancient Japan, the essence of this correspondence was elucidated from the aspect of "和歌."
