歌手は楽譜に合わせて歌うだけでなく，その音高や音色に変動を加えることがある．本論文は，これらを「歌唱テクニック」とし，ポピュラー音楽の中でもJ-POPを対象に，歌手によって歌唱テクニックがどのくらいの頻度でどのように生起するか，そして楽曲のどこで生起するか，その傾向を分析することを目的とする．そこで本論文では，J-POPのプロ歌手24名（男女各12名）の歌い方を別のプロ歌手14名（男女各7名）が学術目的で模倣した歌声データベース「AIST-SIDB」に含まれる48歌唱の13種類の歌唱テクニックを対象として，歌唱テクニックとメロディの持つ音楽要素との関係性を分析した．具体的には，歌唱テクニックの生起頻度と，歌唱テクニックの1つであるビブラートに関してはそのパラメータ（深さと速さ）を分析した．さらに，歌唱テクニックの生起位置を楽譜情報と対応付けて，各歌唱テクニックと「歌詞の音素」，「音高」，「音高差」，「音長」，「フレーズ内における位置」との関係を分析し，またビブラートパラメータと「音高」および「ビブラート長」との相関を分析した．

Singers often add fluctuations in pitch and timbre to their vocal performance beyond just singing along with musical scores. This paper investigates them as “singing techniques” and aims to analyze how often and how they are used by singers, and where they are used in a song with a focus on J-POP of popular music. In this paper, we used AIST-SIDB, a singing database of 48 singing voices in which 14 professional singers (7 male and 7 female singers) imitated singing techniques of 24 professional singers (12 male and 12 female singers) of J-POP for academic purposes. We then analyzed 13 types of singing techniques included in the database in relation to musical scores. Specifically, we analyzed the frequency of occurrence of each singing technique as well as parameters (rate and extent) of vibrato, one of the singing techniques. We mapped the timings of the singing techniques to the musical scores, and analyzed the relationships of each singing technique to the “lyric phoneme,” “pitch,” “pitch interval,” “duration,” and “location within a phrase.” We also analyzed the correlation of vibrato parameters with “pitch” and “vibrato duration.”
