Abstract
<p>Based on the idea that the process of convertinglow calorific value solid fuels such as brown coal and biomass into thermalenergy by combustion is inefficient, we have proposed a new process to convertthese low-grade fuels into electricity and hydrogen without relying on thermalenergy conversion, taking advantage of their high chemical reactivity. This paper outlines the new proposed process.</p>
