A Verification by Trial of Human Resource Development Program on Information Technology (IT) System Implementation

<p>　The importance of information system planning is important as well as the importance of utilizing IT (Internet of Things) and ICT (Information and Communication Technology) . However, a report says about 50% of the introduction of information systems resulted in failure. The authors consider that there are many cases where smooth introduction does not proceed, and it is considered to be a social issue. One of the causes of the problem we regard is “the necessary human resources and man-hours are not secured”. To solve this problem, it is necessary to develop human resources who understand the chain of value creation from the management strategy stage to the work level. As a human resources development program focusing on the chain of value creation, the use of the “IoT Value Creation Sheet” for education has been proposed, but there are no case reports of this approach. In addition to the above, since I found out that there is no clear identification of “Collection”, “Analysis”, and “Control” in the “IoT Value Creation Sheet” as a challenge, I proposed own improvement into the sheet. In this study, we verified by trial about the effectivity of education for human resource development by using “IoT Value Creation Sheet”. And also we verified my own improvement idea into the sheet, effectivity of the sheet, and its ripple effects.</p>
