Abstract

The introduction of robots in the manufacturing industry is being advanced with high technology, however the introduction is not progressing in different industries such as Sanpin industry and nursing welfare. Here, Sanpin industry denotes food, medical and cosmetic industries. On the background that the care problem is an urgent issue in the super-aging society in Japan, this research focuses on the care and welfare field, clarifies the problems in the introduction of robots, and discusses required knowledge and technologies for a robot system integrator (robot SIer) and the way to derive the requirements for robot introduction. We propose a method to develop human resources as SIer by examining various knowledge and technology. As for the educational method, we propose a method for developing upstream design ability of the system including the definition of requirements for long-term care and RTC / RTM based on the knowledge/ practice in the SIer training curriculum for manufacturing sites.
