Abstract

Ethnic minorities in China, whose livelihoods are based on primary industries and whose villages exist in the midst of nature, are facing problems of "how to survive" under the influence of modern urbanization and globalization since 1978. The content of this article is mainly based on three on-site investigations and interviews, summarizing the reasons for the landscape changes in traditional villages, summarizing the results of the changes, and sorting out three types of landscape changes. To establish a foundation for further research on the nature of traditional village landscapes and the types of protection and changes.
