Abstract
<p>The Kikkawa Houkou-kai constructed the Iwakuni Chokokan Museum in the midst of the Pacific War.</p><p>1. The Kikkawa Houkou-kai established the Museum policy in line with the national policy toward a wartime system.</p><p>2. Takeo Satow adopted the architectural design of his ally Germany and made it a neoclassical design. In order to secure the main building materials, construction material arrangements were made early.</p><p>The materials were devised to be procured in the adjacent area.</p><p>3. During construction, Takeo Sato and other people involved flexibly made changes according to the actual situation of the construction.</p>
