The International Consortium for Innovation and Quality in Pharmaceutical Development (the "IQ Consortium") is a not-for-profit organization of pharmaceutical companies with the mission of advancing science and technology to augment the capability of member companies to develop transformational solutions that benefit patients, regulators and the broader research and development community. The IQ Consortium consists of several workstreams, including the Clinical Pharmacology Leadership Group (CPLG). The CPLG is dedicated to addressing emerging scientific and regulatory issues in clinical pharmacology. The CPLG accomplishes its work through collaborative knowledge and data sharing, much of which is done through its subject specific working groups. The CPLG and its working groups conduct surveys, can share data through targeted, secure database framework, conduct workshops and webinars, present at international conferences, publish in peer-reviewed journals, and hold discussions with regulatory agencies around the world, including the FDA, the PMDA, and the NMPA/CDE. We will present an overview and update of IQ and the current CPLG portfolio of activities.
