Abstract

<p>Electric double-layer capacitors using a water-based electrolyte are characterized by their large capacity and low internal resistance, making them suitable for rapid charging and discharging, and they are used as emergency power sources.　 Since activated carbon has a significant influence on this performance, this study evaluated activated carbon, which is used for other purposes, by cyclic voltammetry and impedance methods, and examined its application to electrodes.　As a result, the potential for practical application of this sample was found.</p>
