Abstract
Logical execution time (LET) paradigm has been proposed as efficient design method for multicore software development. It is also well known that LET has a disadvantage to increase latency from input to output. In this research, we propose a solution named Flexible LET, which is extension of LET paradigm. Flexible LET enables inter-LET communication based on data age required by LET-based applications to reduce latency. We developed a prototype on AUTOSAR Adaptive Platform and evaluated the performance. The evaluation results showed that our proposed method is feasible.
