Abstract

In this study, various properties of concrete incorporating ground granulated coal gasification slag (ggcgs) and the durability of a real-scale structure was investigated by experiment. First, authors produced concrete specimens using ggcgs, and evaluated properties of fresh concrete and various durability of concrete exposed to chloride at the element test level. Next, real-scale precast concrete was produced in an actual plant, and the quality of the surface layer and various durability were evaluated. As a result, it became clear that ggcgs was a material that contributes to the strength development and durability of concrete. Furthermore, it was shown that the quality of the surface layer of concrete could be improved by adding ggcgs, regardless of the curing method, and that it provided necessary durability required for precast concrete.
