- パノラマX線画像における頸動脈の石灰化とその類似所見との鑑別診断の困難性
Abstract
In this article, we compare X-ray radiographs of calcification of the carotid artery and similar findings found on panoramic radiographs. Our findings show calcification of the carotid artery, tonsillolith of the palatine tonsils, sialolith of submandibular gland, and calcification of the thyroid cartilage. Understanding carotid calcification and cases with similar findings may help to identify atherosclerosis from panoramic radiographic images.
