近年、クラウドファンディングを用いた文化遺産保護が地方自治体や文化遺産オーナーにより試みられている。本稿では、クラウドファンディングによる文化遺産保護研究の整理や実践例の検証を行った。その結果、クラウドファンディングは、資金集めだけでなく、文化遺産のファンコミュニティ醸成につながることが明らかとなった。寄付を通じた文化遺産の価値理解者や応援者を育むことは、資金循環に止まらない、持続的な文化遺産保護を実現させる可能性を秘めている。In recent years, crowdfunding-based cultural heritage protection has been attempted by local authorities and cultural heritage stakeholders. In this paper, research on cultural heritage protection through crowdfunding is introduced and practical examples are examined. The results show that crowdfunding not only raises funds, but also leads to the creation and fostering of fan-based cultural heritage communities. Cultivating supporters who understand the value of cultural heritage through donations has the potential to go beyond just the accumulation of funds and can achieve sustainable cultural heritage protection.
