- Basic Research for Disaster Education in Home Economics Education : Issues of Public Assistance in Saitama City
抄録
Disaster prevention education in elementary, junior high, and high school, home economics classes is mainly focused on the areas of food, clothing, and residency. In current textbooks, the main focus is on the residential area, such as earthquake countermeasures for furniture, safety measures for sleeping places, and securing evacuation routes by learning how to live safely before a disaster strikes. Then the content about how to act after a disaster strike was rarely written. Therefore, practical learning about securing drinking water, cooking, clothing selection, and living space under conditions where lifelines have been cut off after a disaster will enable flexible responses in the event of a disaster.
