Description
This study aims to reveal the effectiveness of the invasion game with ultimate frisbee for 5th- grade elementary school students regarding game performance of space utilization on/off the ball. We created game performance criteria and assessed their game performance in physical education (PE) classes. Consequently, the following five points were revealed; 1)The decision making in the game will improve during the unit. 2)The success rate of skill execution improved. Particularly, in shooting scenes, it was identified that skill execution in using spaces had a high success rate, with more than 70% for the thrower and more than 90% for the receiver. 3)The utilizatione of space from 1st class in the unit. Moreover, an increase in the number of trials and appearance rate was identified. 4)An increased use of space passes from the front court was assessed. 5)An increased success was identified in using space during play with a combination of thrower and receiver.
