This study aimed to evaluate an experiential learning program in the field of a J League Team (Tokushima Vortis) from the perspective of generic skills. The study established five such elements of generic skills that improved through an experiential learning program: expressive power, planning capability, cooperative power, practice power, and the social/functional knowledge of the sport, and the reliability of these five generic skill elements was analyzed. Furthermore, this study offers an analysis of the dynamics between the elements of the generic skills and the characteristics of the students. The results indicate that there was an improvement in the generic skills of the students through this experiential learning program. In addition, this study revealed that the improvement of the generic skill elements differed according to the gender, grade, volunteer experience, and learning group of the participants.
