Description
<p>Most of fragility functions for wooden house have only attributes of structure and built year, though it has been recognized that roof weight is correlated to damage. In this study we tried to improve the prediction accuracy by considering the roofing type and stories. The fragility function was proposed on the basis of the distribution of seismic capacity score, building data and damage data around the observation stations as well as observed records of past earthquakes. As a result, the predicted values of this study can explain the actual damage more accurately than those of Central Disaster Management Council.</p>
