Abstract

<p>  Conducting secondary urinary diversion to salvage failed urinary diversion is an uncommon and challenging. We successfully performed retroperitoneoscopic dissection of bilateral ureters and transverse colon conduit with minimum laparotomy. The patient was a 74-year-old male who had undergone bilateral nephrostomy a year before due to uretero-ileal anastomosis stricture following ileal neobladder construction. Endoscopic approach was unsuccessful. Retroperitoneal laparoscopic dissection of ureters and transverse colon conduit urinary diversion were planned because he had undergone previous pelvic surgery and had stage IV chronic kidney disease (CKD). The procedure would be a viable option to salvage failed urinary diversion</p>
