Description
Leptoglossus occidentalis Heidemann, 1910 (Hemiptera: Coreidae, Coreinae, Anisoscelini) is an economically important conifer pest in North America. Three individuals of this species were found in uptown Tokyo in 2008: a pair in late March and a single female in late October. This is the first record of the species from Japan. The host plant of this coreid was not detected in these occasions.
