Abstract
<p> For the High Bio Diesel (HiBD) process, a new biodiesel synthesis method, Life Cycle Inventory (LCI) analysis was conducted based on the actual performance data of the demonstration plant and the scenario data assuming a commercial plant. When comparing energy consumption, fossil resource consumption, and GHG emissions for HiBD and FAME, various reduction effects of HiBD and FAME toward diesel fuel were comparable. Regarding the raw material of HiBD, it was confirmed that various reductions were larger in the order of centrifuged oil, waste cooking oil, and crude palm oil (CPO).</p>
