抄録

<p>  We conducted a questionnaire among mothers about the relationship between fathers' attitude to life and school-age children's life skills.</p><p>  It became clear that the parents' relationship and the life skills of children are related, and that the children with a high level of acquisition and practice of life skills were the result of frequent communication between their parents, according to the mothers. It was suggested that it is important that the relationship is such that parents communicate well together in order for children to master and practice their life skills.</p><p>  In addition, there was a relationship between the age of the fathers and the children's life skills. The younger the fathers, the higher the level of the children's life skills.</p><p>  Furthermore, the degree of childcare rearing and cooperation by the fathers was related to the children's life skills, according to the mothers. It can be inferred that it is important for fathers to cooperate positively in raising children in order for children to master their life skills. Moreover, even if fathers cannot be directly involved in raising children because of pressure of work, it was suggested that mothers might see this in a positive light.</p>
