抄録

<p>In physical therapy settings, lateral weight shift in the standing position is used in the evaluation and prescription of exercise therapy. Measurement of lateral weight shift in the standing position is needed to properly evaluate and treat patients receiving physical therapy. This study adds to previous research of posture change and muscle activity during lateral weight shift in the standing position. We discuss treatments in the context of lateral weight shift during backward movement.</p>
