Abstract

Our robotics club members in National Institute of Technology Nagaoka College have been participated in RoboCup Junior (RCJ) soccer open league in recent years. The students can learn a wide range of fields of engineering such as mechanics, electronic control circuit, motor driver and sensors, software programing through developing the robots. To participate in RCJ is also effective for improving students' problem-solving skills and communication skills. This paper introduces “INPUT”, which is one of the teams in our club, and gives a detailed explanation of the development transition of their robots. We also consider the effect on participation in RoboCup for improving foundation ability of social workers.
