Abstract

One-way carsharing (OWCS) is expected one of the transport systems in multi-modal transport environment. In this study, we develop the definition of the discriminant model considering the feature of carsharing station type and inside/outside service area members in the viewpoint of individual user trip-chain to evaluate OWCS.<br>By using the discriminant model, practical data of Ha:moRIDE in Toyota-city showed that there were a small amount of owner car like-usage type trips and a large amount of secondary-traffic type trips by outside service area members. Trip rate of complementary-traffic type trips had been increasing for three years because of additing several OWCS stations far from public transportation's stations.
