Description
The SMART factory project which produces plastic from wood biomass (thinnings) at Maniwa biomass base has been developed. This development is aimed to construct a business model that increases the use of wood biomass. One issue is the necessity to economically reduce CO2 emissions which are caused by the use of electric power and fossil fuel in the factory. To accomplish this, the method of “The Smart Photovoltaic power generation (hereinafter referred to as PV) and Electric vehicle (hereinafter referred to as EV) system” has been proposed, in order to replace fossil fuels with PV power which are consumed by gasoline vehicles. In order to expand this method into industrial applications, it is considered that an industrial vehicle such as a fork-lift become electrical. In addition, an electric industrial vehicle should combined with PV.<br> In this study, the energy system combined with the Electric industrial vehicles (hereinafter referred to as EIV) and PV is studied through the use of a mathematical model and some practical experiments. As a result, it has been clarified that the proposed system is able to reduce CO2 emissions by 38% and has economy of IRR=6.4%.
